About Raven
Raven came to us straight off the shelter’s kill list. Her death sentence? Being scared. Underweight and terrified of people, she has shown remarkable resilience. Despite her past, Raven is the sweetest, gentlest girl with a tender heart who longs for trust and love. She needs someone patient who can help her feel safe and secure. Once she bonds with you, Raven is incredibly loyal, becoming your little shadow. She thrives with other affectionate, playful dogs and is non-reactive to cats. While she isn't a fan of the crate, she manages well when left alone with access to a secure outdoor area. She’s making excellent progress with potty training and walks nicely on a leash, though loud noises can startle her. Raven requires a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. She’s best suited to a home with older children, as quick movements can frighten her. We’re working on basic commands, and she shows promise in her intelligence and attentiveness. As a German Shepherd and Australian Shepherd mix, Raven is beautiful inside and out. Watching her learn that people can be kind has been incredibly rewarding. If you give Raven the chance she deserves, you’ll find a loyal, gentle, and loving companion for life. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
