Meet Violet Beauregarde! Unlike her namesake from Willy Wonka, this Violet is as sweet as they come. At around a year old and weighing 50 pounds, this beautiful shepherd mix is the longest resident at her previous shelter before joining The Misfit Ranch. It's a mystery why—everyone who meets her is smitten. Violet is truly the total package. She's friendly with everyone, adores other dogs, gets along well with cats, and is wonderful with kids. Her foster family can't stop raving about how she makes herself right at home in your heart. With plenty of youthful energy, Violet loves to run, wrestle, and engage her dog friends in playful chases. She sometimes shows off a bit of her zoomie spirit. Fortunately, she’s smart and eager to learn; her potty training skills are coming along beautifully. A little more guidance will help her refine her puppy antics as she matures. One of Violet's favorite activities is performing tricks she has learned. She thrives on interaction with her people and enjoys showing off for treats or praise. After a fun play session, she delights in curling up for cozy snuggles. An active family that enjoys outdoor activities would be the perfect fit for Violet.
