About Bruce

Bruce is a lovable 11-year-old West Highland White Terrier, fondly known as a Westie. After being surrendered to Westie Rescue Southeast, he’s looking for a thoughtful and patient forever home. Bruce has made it clear that he prefers his space, especially around young children, and he needs a household without kids or other pets. Bruce is unique in that he thrives on trust and respect. He doesn’t like having his feet touched, but if you ask for pets, he responds with a wagging tail or a sweet head bump. He enjoys being near you and can often be found lounging by your side on the couch or lying at your feet. He’s house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash, making him a great companion for brief walks in the neighborhood. A fully fenced yard is a must, as is a male owner to help him feel secure. Bruce has many qualities to offer, and he deserves a kind and understanding home. If you believe you can meet his needs and provide him with a peaceful environment, consider applying to adopt him.
