Ivory is a striking all-white, two-year-old pittie mix with an infectious smile and a big, open heart. After facing a scary medical emergency in the shelter and making a full recovery in foster care, Ivory thrives in a caring, structured environment. Back in a loving foster home, she’s regained her cheerful confidence and loves to show it off with constant grins. Weighing in at 56 pounds, Ivory falls perfectly in the medium-large range. She’s strong enough for adventure but gentle and tender when it’s time to relax. Ivory is making great progress with both house and crate training, and she flourishes with routine and consistency. Walks, hikes, long car rides, or rolling in the grass—she’s game for any activity, as long as she gets downtime on the couch. Ivory’s personality shines brightest when she trusts you. She’s a little cautious with new people and situations, but responds well to patient, gentle handling and quickly warms up. She’s playful, goofy, and affectionate—a dog who wants desperately to connect and make her people proud. Ivory gets along well with other dogs, mainly those of similar size and energy, and she does well with children. Because of her strength, sensitivity, and breed mix, she’d do best with a pittie-savvy household looking for a loyal, smart companion.
