Meet Maya, your future best friend with beautiful grey eyes! This 10-week-old female White Lab mix is estimated to grow into a loving 60 lbs. Maya is a charming little pup with a heart as lovely as her face, and she embodies all the classic Lab traits: curiosity, intelligence, loyalty, and an adorable sense of goofiness. Found wandering the streets of South Texas, Maya was rescued by a kind-hearted Good Samaritan. Now in safe hands, she’s ready for a life filled with love, belly rubs, and cuddles. This girl is a professional cuddle bug, happily being held and rocked like a baby for extra snuggles. Expect plenty of puppy kisses and a serious case of the ‘just five more minutes’ when it’s time to set her down. Maya is also a toy tester extraordinaire. She loves playing with stuffies, balls, and squeaky toys, taking her job as chief inspector very seriously! Social and eager to please, she has already met a few kitty friends and could likely cohabitate with feline pals, given some patience and careful introductions. Maya thrives on interaction with other dogs and would love a canine buddy to play and snuggle with. While she could be fine as an only dog with plenty of attention, she will need the companionship that dogs provide. She is friendly, gentle, and curious, making her a wonderful choice for families with children as long as everyone is supervised. As with all puppies, outdoor adventures and meetings with unfamiliar pets should wait until her vaccinations are complete.
