About Opal in NC
Meet Opal, a charming sweetheart with a delightful personality. Rescued from the streets of Georgia, she knows what it means to be valued and gives back love tenfold. This gentle girl eagerly greets her humans with joy every time they walk through the door. She thrives on cuddles and firmly believes that sharing your couch or bed is a must! Opal is housebroken and is learning her basic commands. She enjoys a medium activity level, especially loves the outdoors, and has a knack for digging little dens in her yard to hide her treasured toys. Friendly with new faces, Opal has also bonded well with her foster family's kids aged 12 and 13 and plays nicely with other dogs. She could thrive in a home with or without kids or canine companions. Though she has met younger children during walks, she hasn’t shown much interest in them. With her sensitive nature, Opal feels nervous in loud or unfamiliar spaces, making her a better fit for quieter neighborhoods. Ideally, she’d love a home with a 4-foot fenced yard where she can live out her adventures, dig to her heart's content, and enjoy cuddles with her family. Opal is ready to bring a lot of love and joyful snuggles to a lucky family welcome her into their lives! Click apply to start the adoption process.
