About Bear
Meet Bear! Bear is a charming 10-month-old Great Pyrenees and Anatolian Shepherd mix, weighing a robust 90 pounds. This big guy is still growing and could reach around 120 to 130 pounds when fully grown. Despite his size, Bear is a gentle giant full of love. With his wonderful temperament, Bear is friendly and affectionate, capturing the hearts of everyone he encounters. He gets along great with dogs of all sizes, making new furry friends is easy for him. His interactions with cats are still a question mark, as he hasn't had the chance to meet any yet. Though Bear is big, he's also a bit timid. New experiences can scare him, leading to a cute but hesitant reaction where he may drop to the ground. Car rides are particularly daunting for him, as a veterinary nurse once had to carry him to the vehicle. He shows a need for a patient family to help him build confidence and learn that the world can be welcoming. Currently, Bear is thriving in a loving foster home where he’s learning how to be the best boy possible. He’s house trained, knows how to sit on command, and is honing his leash manners. He’s a smart puppy who will flourish with positive reinforcement. Bear needs a family familiar with large breeds, especially livestock guardians like him. His future family should be ready to continue his training and provide plenty of space and love. Bear is neutered, vaccinated, and will hold a health certificate prior to adoption. With the right family, this sweet, goofy giant has the potential to be a lifelong companion. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
