About Mabel
Meet Mabel! She’s a healthy, lovable American Bulldog mixed breed, almost 2.5 years old. Mabel is currently a courtesy post for House of Hope in Shelton, WA. Having first been at House of Hope as a puppy, she returned on December 10, 2025, when her adopted family could no longer meet her needs. It’s time for this special girl to find a loving home. Mabel is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, with routine health records available for review. She’s both house trained and crate trained, and she knows basic commands. While she’s gentle and a bit shy, she warms up to a new environment given time. Mabel enjoys playtime with dogs but prefers to avoid rough play. She’s been a model houseguest around other dogs, although her behavior around cats is unknown. Ideal for a quiet home, Mabel needs a safe space where she can relax. Once comfortable, you'll discover a very affectionate companion. If you’re interested in knowing more about this lovely girl, please submit an application through the rescue’s website. A home visit is required before adoption. The adoption fee has been waived, making this the perfect time to give her a loving home.
