Meet Carter, your future couch cuddle buddy! This playful 4-month-old lady is full of energy and loves nothing more than snuggles and fun. We anticipate she’ll end up weighing between 40 and 50 pounds as she grows. Her favorites include cozying up on the couch, enjoying peanut butter-filled Kongs, and chasing after balls. She’s still figuring out how to bring them back, but we all know she’ll get there in her own time. Carter is smart and already crate trained, and she takes herself to bed when she’s ready to sleep. Potty training is going well, too—she’s using a puppy pad indoors and is starting to go outside. Accidents are rare. Carter enjoys socializing with other dogs and meeting new people. However, she prefers a calm environment, so a home with older children, around 6 and up, might be best for her. Carter is currently in a loving foster home, not at the shelter.
