About Locust aka Loki

Locust, affectionately known as Loki, is a lively 6-month-old mixed-breed shepherd who found his way to DCAC after being surrendered alongside another dog. When he first arrived, Loki was quite anxious and a bit dramatic, but he has made significant progress and is now ready to find his forever family. This friendly boy enjoys the company of other dogs and has shown himself to be quite sociable. While he hasn’t yet been tested with kids or cats, his playful nature suggests he could adapt well. Loki is neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. It’s uncertain just how big he’ll get, but he’s expected to be medium to large when fully grown. If you’re looking for a playful companion, Loki might just be the perfect match! Your new best friend is just one click away.
