Rocky is a sweet soul with special needs due to his unique health conditions. Having lived without the thyroid hormone his body required, he has some growth abnormalities, making him a delicate little fellow. He may always look like a puppy, but he needs a careful and loving home. This charming dog enjoys the company of other small and calmer dogs, as rough play could lead to injuries. While Rocky gets along well with cats, his best fit would be with a family who’s home often—perhaps someone working remotely. Cuddles are a must; he loves being close to his people. His new owners will need to manage his thyroid medication, which is quite affordable. Rocky is currently in Mississippi but will be transported once adopted.
