Mirabel currently calls Jefferson, LA home and brings lots of personality to her large, athletic frame. She gets along well with other dogs and children, making her a wonderful fit for an active family.

About Mirabel

Mirabel has weathered more than her share of hard knocks, but you’d never guess it watching her lounge on the couch or parade around with a squeaky toy. She started life on the outside, abandoned and tied to a fence, and raised a litter of puppies before it was finally her turn. Despite never being indoors before, Mirabel showed up already house trained and respects her space—no accidents, no chewing, just an easy routine. Give her a squeaker or a snack and she’s good to go. She lights up around other pets and truly shines as a playmate. Mirabel loves cats and romps with them often in her foster home. She’s great with small dogs and enjoys playing with dogs her own size after a slow introduction. Her favorite things are food and squeaky toys, and her loyalty runs deep. She’s looking for a family that’s ready to see what a real survivor can bring to a home. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
