Webley
AvailableWebley is a young, male Corgi weighing around 50 pounds. He is house trained and neutered, making him a great companion for an adult home or one with older children. Living in Denver, CO, he's ready to find a caring family willing to provide the attention and affection he craves.
About Webley
Webley is a very sweet boy in search of a gentle and dedicated companion. After losing his original owner, he was given away and later found abandoned in Colorado Springs. This journey has left him needing a safe and understanding environment to call home. At around five years old and weighing 50 pounds, Webley thrives in an adult-only household or one with respectful children aged 12 and up; young kids make him nervous. He needs a home without cats, as he sees them as toys. Ideally, a fenced yard would provide him the security he craves, but having minimal stairs is crucial due to his weak back legs. Webley enjoys short, frequent walks and car rides. Though he has made progress, he still needs assistance on stairs and with car entry for his continued weight loss journey. His current diet consists of a high-protein, home-cooked regimen as advised by his vet, supplemented with fish oil for his joints. He gets along well with other dogs, especially his Corgi โsisterโ, although larger or high-energy dogs can overstimulate him. Webley prefers affection over toys and can become vocal at mealtime. Heโs kennel trained and should be groomed without nail trims at home due to his anxiety over them. If youโre ready to offer Webley the calm and nurturing home he deserves, take the first step by filling out our adoption application.
