About Ladybug
Meet Ladybug! This 6-year-old, approximately 35-pound Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog/Corgi mix is soft and sensitive, searching for a peaceful home where she can thrive. In a secure environment, Ladybug is the perfect companion, sweet and affectionate, enjoying cuddles and playtime with her toys. She loves fetch and goes on calm walks without pulling on the leash. This intelligent girl is house trained and doesn't cause mischief; she even takes naps while you’re busy. When things feel safe, her joyous spirit shines. However, new or stressful situations can overwhelm her, leading to fear-based reactions. Having lived with toddlers previously, she needs a child-free home, as she struggles with anxiety around children. A peaceful atmosphere is crucial; too much commotion can trigger her stress. Gentle, positive reinforcement is key. She requires slow introductions to anything new and will need a female caretaker who understands her sensitivities. Ladybug enjoys grooming time, given her fine coat, and would flourish with some time spent in a fenced yard, especially for her beloved fetch sessions. With the right patient and experienced handler to help ease her fears, Ladybug can become the loyal friend you’ve always desired. Her joy and companionship are waiting for you.
