About Aspen

Aspen is a sweet girl who came to Big Dog Ranch from a California shelter. She arrived a bit hungry and unsure of her surroundings, but with loving care, she’s gained confidence and learned to navigate her world without hearing. Aspen excels in using her other senses to communicate, demonstrating impressive learning skills. For instance, when her food bowl is empty, she pushes it to signal for more, and she associates certain gestures with actions, like sitting when she sees a leash because she knows it means a fun walk ahead. Aspen’s calm demeanor makes her a great companion for anyone, even seniors. She adores cuddles, enjoys playing with toys, and loves other dogs. What she craves most is a forever home where she’ll feel safe, loved, and understood. If you're looking for a gentle and affectionate friend, Aspen may just be the one for you. Could you be the family Aspen has been waiting for?
