Hey you, I'm Rocky! I came in from Georgia all the way back in 2021 and I'm still looking for a home. I arrived in pretty rough shape, but I have more than recovered and I've been waiting a long time for someone to see the love in my eyes. All I want is human connection and affection. Every day I watch people walk by, and no one gives me a second look. I know I can be a little excitable, but I'll settle down for scratchies. I will absolutely thrive in a home environment where I get to be the center of attention and I always have someone to love me. I do prefer my people pals, and I'm a little choosy about which dogs I want to play with so like all dogs I will need proper introductions to potential friends. But the dogs I do get along with, I will become besties with! Here at the Ranch, I've learned some pretty cool tricks like how to Sit for my food and how to keep clean inside. I also walk pretty well on the leash when I have someone giving me plenty of guidance. I know everyone tends to pass by us longer term dogs in favor of those cute puppies, but I have experience with being a dog that the babies lack. I have never given up hope, and I greet every person I meet with the happy face and wagging tail of a sweet boy who just wants to be given a chance. My zest for life has never faded, and if you take the time to say hello, I would be more than happy to be your best friend!
