Elf is a big, goofy one-year-old Golden Retriever with a ton of affection to share. Recently surrendered to rescue, he thrived in a loving home and is now looking for a forever family where he can continue to be his playful self. Elf adores the company of other dogs and currently lives with large furry friends. He's shown no prey drive around cats and is house trained, making him a reliable buddy at home. While Elf has some quirks, like avoiding the crate and not jumping in the car, he’s not destructive when left alone in one room. His manners are a work in progress; he feels everything is his and he loves to pull on the leash. He'll need a home that provides structure and boundaries, along with a fenced yard for playtime. Elf does great with stairs and enjoys snuggling in bed at night. This big love bug requires experienced dog owners and another playful dog to keep him company.
