Macklin is a six-year-old neutered male Golden Retriever in Rochester, NY. At about 80 pounds, he is house trained and thrives in homes where he is the only dog—he has fear aggression toward other dogs and requires daily anxiety medication. Despite that, Macklin shines around people and loves being with children. He is gentle, approachable, and makes a fantastic family dog for anyone without another dog in the home. His special needs mean a patient adopter is a must, but his loyal, affectionate nature is worth it. This is a courtesy post; Macklin is not physically with the rescue.
