Meet Beckham, a lively four-year-old Shepherd/Terrier mix in Youngsville, NC. This 55-pound boy boasts a silky golden coat with stylish black and white accents. Beck is the perfect blend of adventure and affection. He loves walks, playing in the yard, and embarking on hikes, but you’ll also find him cozily lounging beside his people, enjoying toys and belly rubs. His coat is irresistibly soft, making cuddle sessions a delight. Beckham knows how to bring joy to a room with his playful antics. A few rump scratches and some silly talk often lead to him showcasing his dance moves or zooming around in sheer happiness. He’s an affectionate companion who thrives on being part of the family. Clearly smart and eager to learn, Beckham is house-trained and crate-trained. He has undergone formal obedience training, knows commands like sit and stay, and responds well to positive reinforcement, especially when treats are involved. Currently, he is being fostered with a trainer who can guide his new family through a smooth transition. This friendly pup gets along well with other dogs and would love a confident canine buddy to share playtime with. He’s best suited for a family with calm, respectful school-age children or older ones. However, due to his reaction to cats, Beckham needs a cat-free home. A fenced yard would be a great addition to his new space. While Beckham enjoys outdoor adventures, he can be leash reactive towards other dogs and fast-moving objects. An experienced handler who can provide consistent support is ideal for him. At the vet, he needs premedication and a muzzle for comfortable visits. Beckham is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. With Beckham in your life, every day is an opportunity for softness, silliness, loyalty, and adventure. Whether he’s discovering new trails, sharing joyful moments with his people, or just snuggling up at home, he brings happiness wherever he goes. Ready to welcome Beck into your home?
