About Wujoy

Meet Wujoy! This loyal five-year-old Belgian Malinois/Shepherd mix resides in Amherst, MA. With a stunning golden coat and an expressive dark face, he stands out as a memorable companion. Weighing in at about 60 pounds, Wujoy seeks a patient and experienced pet parent who understands his independent spirit and values the deep bond formed through trust. Wujoy is a thoughtful and reserved gentleman. He takes his time warming up to new people, but once he does, his affection shines through during excited greetings and quiet companionship. Although he may not be the most cuddly fellow, his loyalty is undeniable. He enjoys walks, strolling confidently without pulling and taking in his surroundings. Car rides also make him happy, and he follows a daily routine well. While Wujoy can handle short periods alone, long stretches can be stressful for him. He has a solid foundation in obedience training and responds well to treats. Show him food, and he’ll happily sit on command. Wujoy is best suited to a home without other pets, as he has had difficulties with smaller dogs. While he has not exhibited aggression toward humans, he is selective about unfamiliar people. He has shown comfort around a familiar teenager, but his compatibility with younger children is unknown. This gentle soul would thrive in a home with an experienced Belgian Malinois or Shepherd enthusiast. A securely fenced yard in a peaceful rural setting would be ideal, along with meaningful activities, consistent routines, and positive reinforcement to help him build confidence. Wujoy is house-trained, microchipped, vaccinated, and will be neutered before his adoption. He’s ready for a new chapter with someone who respects his boundaries and understands the needs of a working breed. Could you be the caring, experienced pet parent who welcomes Wujoy into your heart?
