About Spook
Meet Spook, a little pumpkin with a heart of gold. Despite his name, he won't scare you; Spook just needs a bit of time to come out of his shell. At just 9 weeks old, he’s a Lhasa Apso/Terrier mix who’s still figuring out his place in the world. He’s looking for a loving family ready to help him discover how wonderful life can be. Spook’s beginning was tough. Found discarded on a roadside, he was covered in fleas and ticks and left to fend for himself. Thankfully, he found care and love in foster care, and he’s thriving now. Unlike some of his more confident siblings, Spook is on the shy side and needs a family that will be patient while he warms up. Earning his trust will make it all the more rewarding. He’s getting accustomed to life with large dogs, his siblings, cats, and even chickens, which is quite the exposure for this little guy. As any young puppy does, Spook will need assistance with potty training, basic manners, and socialization. His future family should come prepared to guide him with love and patience as he learns that the world isn’t as scary as it once seemed. Spook has overcome more than many puppies should have to, and now he’s ready to find a family who will cherish and protect him, helping him grow into the amazing companion he’s meant to be. Maybe with that special family, he’ll learn the best things in life are just around the corner. Out-of-state adopters are welcome! Transport is available to various regions, including the East Coast, Pacific Northwest, and parts of the Midwest. Click apply to start the adoption process.
