About Dixie
Meet Dixie! Your future little shadow! Dixie is an almost 3-month-old girl who might just be a German Shorthaired Pointer/Beagle mix, based on our best guess. Dixie and her brother, Colt, were sadly left behind at a Texas shelter, and we stepped in to give them a fighting chance for a better life. Now we're eager to find Dixie a family who will cherish her forever! Unlike her shy brother, Dixie is an outgoing little girl who wants to be right where her people are. Whether you’re doing something or going somewhere, she won’t let you out of her sight. She takes her job as your personal shadow seriously, whether that means being by your side in the kitchen or following you to the bathroom. Dixie is ready to explore the world with her humans close by. She’s a baby still learning about her surroundings but has endless love to offer. After being overlooked as a puppy, she yearns for a family who will always welcome her home. If you’re looking for a built-in best friend who thinks personal space is overrated, Dixie is your girl! Fostered in Brownsville, Texas, Dixie can easily travel to approved adopters through our rescue’s transport network. Let’s ensure Dixie finds the loving home she deserves!
