About Griddy Arriving D
Griddy is one of approximately 40 dogs rescued from unfortunate circumstances in Texas, and he’s now starting anew in foster care. Although he can be timid, this young boy is a clever and gentle pup eager to learn he’s safe. Having a confident canine companion can help him adjust, so he would likely thrive with a friendly dog in his home. Griddy enjoys observing his foster and appreciates gentle pets as he builds trust. There’s a playful side to Griddy too. He loves being outdoors, especially digging in the dirt. Bathtime? He’ll tolerate it, but don’t be surprised if he races back outside to play in the mud! He’s still adjusting, working on leash skills and becoming house trained, but he is eager to learn. With patience, Griddy will blossom. He needs a nurturing, understanding home that allows him to grow at his own pace. Celebrating his small victories will help him understand what it means to be loved. He’s already taken brave steps, and now he just needs someone to guide him on this journey. Could you be the one to show Griddy how beautiful life can truly be? Griddy will arrive in Minnesota on 1/6/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM. He is currently available through Ruff Start Rescue's Foster to Adopt Program. Prepare for some vet visits once he arrives, as he may need additional care. Click apply to start the adoption process.
