About Ruby
Meet Ruby, a vibrant 3-year-old Lab/Shepherd mix in Philomath, OR who embodies joy and energy. Weighing in at 60 lbs, sheβs an enthusiastic and athletic companion, always ready for work, play, and love. Ruby thrives on activity; she enjoys structured training sessions, running, and biking. While she can settle at home, she really needs a fenced yard to burn off her medium-to-high energy and keep her mentally stimulated. Ruby is social with other dogs but can be a bit much and isnβt always a perfect fit for every canine. With the right introduction, she can make a great buddy for a playful male dog. However, she has a prey drive, so she's not suitable for homes with cats. Ruby is also best suited for homes without young children due to her intensity. She has a solid training foundation, including nice leash walking, 'sit', 'down', and crate training. Crating her while you work is drama-free. Ruby is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and house trained. If you're experienced with high-energy dogs and looking for a loyal partner who loves to learn and share affection, Ruby is ready for her forever home. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
