Meet Suki, our beautiful Aruban princess! This lovely 5-year-old, 55-pound Cunucu mix has been waiting for someone to call her own for far too long. Abandoned over two years ago, she made her way to New England and has been thriving with a wonderful foster family since then. Suki is loving, loyal, and brimming with personality. She enjoys outdoor adventures, walks gracefully on a leash, and is completely house-trained. While she’s content spending time alone, she adores affection—especially belly rubs. Despite being friendly with strangers, Suki can be unpredictable when people enter her personal space, particularly at home. She is receiving training to help her better manage these situations. Therefore, she would flourish in a quieter, adult-only home where she is the only pet. The ideal adopter will be patient and dog-experienced, willing to continue the work her fosters have started. Most importantly, Suki needs someone who appreciates her for who she is and respects her need for personal space. She doesn’t aspire to greet every visitor; she just wants to be cherished by someone who understands her quirks.
