He lives with children and is exceptionally gentle and affectionate, always ready for some good butt scratches or a round of kisses. He is completely housebroken, knows all his basic commands, and walks well on a leash. Car rides make his day. Bear does best as an only dog, though a female companion may work if introduced properly. He isn't fond of other male dogs, so a bit of ongoing training could help boost his confidence in those situations. Bear works well with all sorts of homesāfamily, couple, or solo adopter.
