About Louisiana

Meet Louisiana, a charming girl who is nearly 6 months old and currently weighs around 45 lbs. She’s expected to grow into a big girl, likely reaching about 80 lbs at full size. Her dad is a purebred German Shepherd, while her mom is a black mixed breed. Louisiana’s early life was quite challenging. She was born into a situation of animal cruelty, coming into the world in a hole in the ground, as her mother struggled to find safety. Thankfully, that life is behind her now. Despite her rough start, Louisiana is incredibly sweet and social. She quickly warms up to everyone she meets—she gets along well with dogs, cats, and kids alike. More than anything, she loves being around her humans. Louisiana is looking for a loving family that can provide her with a cozy bed, places to explore, and plenty of adventures. What she truly deserves is to be surrounded by love for the rest of her life. Louisiana is ready to start her journey in a forever home!
