About Edith

Meet Edith. This sweet girl waited patiently at North Central Shelter since late July. When her owner went into the hospital, she was set aside, but sadly no one returned for her. As days turned into weeks, Edith started to pull away, but now she’s discovering what safety and stability truly feel like. Her fosters describe her as an angel; she is polite and calm indoors, showing no interest in chewing things or getting into trouble. She’s great with other dogs, needing only a gentle introduction at first. Once she forms a bond, her loyalty is unwavering. Edith has a gentle nature and is learning to trust that good things will last. After everything she's faced, she deserves a loving home that offers her the soft landing she’s been waiting for in her golden years.
