About Smokey Joe

Smokey Joe's story is on the path to a happier chapter. Rescued a few years ago, he found himself adopted into a loving family. However, as the household expanded with kids and pets, it became clear that this gentle soul needs a quieter environment. Now in a calm foster home devoid of chaotic furballs or overly enthusiastic toddlers, Smokey Joe is flourishing. This six-year-old Domestic Long Hair cat has a stunning gray/silver coat and a distinct charm that shines through during his “brush time.” He adores ear rubs and chin scratches, often drooling with happiness when receiving them. Smokey Joe prefers the cozy intimacy of cuddling with his people over interacting with other felines. He seeks a peaceful home where he can build trust at his own pace, as he can be a bit reserved around new faces. With your love and patience, he’s ready to offer his affection in return. Smokey Joe is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and litterbox trained. He doesn’t get along with other cats or dogs but does well with children. Click apply to start the adoption process.
