Meet Axel! This handsome seven-year-old fellow has stars in his eyes and an undeniable charm. A talker and a cuddler, Axel is truly the full package. Do you enjoy having a little shadow follow you around the house? Axel has mastered that. If you love having a Netflix buddy on the couch—just know he might snore on your lap for hours. He recently had a dental procedure to remove a few teeth, and since then, he’s been much happier, happily eating dry food again with no issues. Being a senior, Axel moves a bit slower but is adventurous in his own way, occasionally attempting to jump on chairs and stools. You might catch him getting the zoomies now and then; you'll probably hear it before you see it! With his health improved, he has started to show interest in toys. Axel has two favorite mouse toys that he loves to bat around—they must be adopted with him. He has interacted with other cats both at the shelter and in his foster home, showing indifference towards them. An older cat who enjoys quiet companionship would suit him perfectly—think of it as a chess game without much conversation.
