NOTE: THIS IS AN "OUT OF TOWN PET" - that means he is not at this location but we do have transport here - more about transport below. Our Rescue is Houston based (https://www.facebook.com/TwilightTailsRescue) and all our fosters and Rescue Ranch are in and around Houston. _________________________________________________________________________________ Meet Einstein — A Little Genius With a Great Big Heart! I am Mark and I help write profiles for Twilight Tails. I wanted to add a personal note regarding the Great Pyrenees breed. Two years ago I didn't know this breed existed. Since then I adopted my first one-Candy. I was so impressed with how wonderful these dog are I adopted a second one named Milly. If you love the love of a Golden and the calmness that we usually only see in older dogs you might want to consider a GP. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the breed. I'm a lucky guy...now back to the Einstein show.... They say good things come in small packages, but nobody told Einstein that he's supposed to be a BIG dog! At just 7 months old and 27 pounds, this adorable Great Pyrenees/Collie mix is shaping up to be what we affectionately call a Pocket Pyr! We estimate he'll top out around 40–45 pounds, giving you all that wonderful fluffy-dog charm in a conveniently smaller package. Einstein can be a little shy when he first meets someone new. But give this sweet boy a little time, and you'll discover a heart as big as the Great Pyrenees he came from. Once he warms up, he's an absolute lovebug! And don't let his initially bashful personality fool you. At our Rescue ranch, Einstein is a happy, playful pup who gets along beautifully with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Big dogs? Wonderful! Little dogs? Fantastic! Einstein doesn't discriminate when it comes to making friends. He loves to run, romp, and enjoy life with his four-legged buddies. But when playtime is over, Einstein becomes a professional snuggler. He loves his stuffed toys, especially when he can curl up and cuddle with them. And bedtime? Oh, this boy has it figured out! Einstein burrows into his fluffy blankets and sleeps like a little pig in a blanket, all cozy and content. It's hard to imagine anything more adorable. Then there's that coat. Einstein is unbelievably soft. We're talking silky, luxurious, run-your-hands-through-it softness. Petting him is like stroking a silk pillow. Add those wonderfully floppy ears, and you've got one seriously irresistible puppy. Now here's where Einstein really earns his name. This little genius already has his house manners down! He's fully housebroken and even gives a soft little whimper when he needs to go outside. He's crate trained if needed, doesn't chew on furniture, and isn't destructive around the house. For a 7-month-old puppy, that's pretty darn impressive! Einstein is the perfect combination of playful puppy, gentle companion, and fluffy cuddle buddy. He may need a little patience when you first meet him, but once you've earned his trust, you'll understand just how special this boy really is. Einstein doesn't need to solve the mysteries of the universe. He's already figured out the most important thing in life: good friends, soft blankets, stuffed toys, and someone to love. Now he just needs to find his someone. Could that be you? ________________________________________________________________________________ Getting Einstein to you... Einstein is microchipped & fully vaccinated and will need to be neutered by his adopter before he is 1 year old. We will give you a $100 rebate when that has been done. He would benefit from being adopted by a dog-loving person who understands he has so much to offer but will need a little time to adjust and settle in with his new family. Currently Einstein is being fostered at our Rescue Ranch near Houston, TX but can be brought close to your home on rescue transport which comes through your area once a month. Transport info below. Adoption fee is $395 plus $30 for a health certificate and $260 for transport. Please complete the application on this link: https://forms.gle/FKSMBuoGTujaTkun8 Or email Sandra.ttr.tx@gmail.com for a link to the application. Once your application is approved, we can arrange a FaceTime session for you to meet him. Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on-time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport. We use what we think is the best dog transport service in the region and have for years - Andrea and her crew really offer first class transport!
