About Duke
Duke is a lively 4.5-year-old German Shepherd mix who knows how to keep himself entertained. He is endlessly playful, chasing bugs and tossing his toys in the air, perfectly content with solo play. Crate and house trained, Duke is quick to sit when a treat is nearby, showing off his intelligence. Whether itβs on a leash or during a game of ball, he enjoys active outings. While Duke is friendly, we recommend a home with older children, as he prefers interactions that aren't too rough. He has a tendency to guard affection and is best suited as the only dog or with someone experienced in resource guarding. He enjoys the company of female dogs his size or smaller, and while he can be protective at home, he is friendly with familiar faces and calm around guests outside. For a great buddy who can add joy to your life, Duke may just be your perfect match! Duke is currently in Colleyville, TX, but he can be adopted and transported out of state. The adoption fee is $175, which covers vaccinations, microchipping, and more. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
