Delgado is looking for a fresh start after coming to Highland Humane Society with five other Chihuahua mixes. At 6 years old and weighing 16 lbs, he’s a small, mature gentleman who would thrive in a compassionate home where he can feel secure. These little souls arrived under challenging circumstances, and Delgado is still getting acclimated. He needs time and patience to adjust, so his new family should be prepared to support him as he finds comfort in his surroundings. Although he was previously shown kindness, Delgado has had limited exposure to small children and cats, so it's unclear how he would fare with them. However, he does get along well with other dogs, which is a positive sign for potential adopters with furry friends. Delgado is scheduled for neutering surgery soon, and he’s available through our foster-to-adopt program. This means you can take him home now while helping him transition to a healthier, happier life. With a little love and care, his true personality will start to shine.
