Like all her companions, she’s small and full-grown, embodying the petite charm of Chihuahuas. Currently, Appoline is adjusting to her new environment, which can be a bit daunting for her. She’s taken a courageous step by facing baths, nail trims, and veterinary care, all of which have added to her confusion. It’s essential to give her the time and patience she needs to feel safe and secure in her new surroundings. Appoline gets along well with other dogs, but her past lacked exposure to small children and cats, so it's unclear how she would respond to them. Adopters should be prepared for a gentle transition as she builds trust and confidence. As she’s not yet altered, Appoline is currently part of the foster-to-adopt program, with surgery scheduled for early November 2026.
