About Luna

Meet Luna, a resilient young dog with a heart full of potential. She began her journey in a drainage pipe with her siblings, struggling to survive until she was rescued just before a Texas freeze. Luna faced some challenges, including a severe case of mange that left her with little fur and many sores. Today, she proudly flaunts a gorgeous, healthy coat, a true testament to her recovery and the care she received from dedicated veterinarians. Luna is a bit shy and timid, qualities rooted in her past. She thrives in a patient environment that allows her to feel safe and relaxed. A quiet home where she can take her time to build confidence is ideal. Having other dogs around her works wonders; they help her feel secure and teach her that the world can be a friendly place. Ideally, Luna would love to find a family with a well-adjusted dog to help guide her through this new chapter of her life. Luna enjoys the experience of playtime, especially running around outside and engaging with her doggy friends. Chew toys bring her endless joy, while soft stuffed toys often don’t survive her enthusiasm. Once she learns to trust, you’ll witness her transformation into the joyful, confident companion she was destined to be. If you have the patience and love to help Luna bloom, she’s ready to meet her forever family. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
