About Rugar
Meet Rugar! This sweet, approximately 7-month-old male Mountain Cur mix is searching for a loving family that can provide the time and patience he needs to heal and thrive. Currently recovering from a leg injury, Rugar requires rest and limited activity. While nothing is broken, he may have a strain or sprain that calls for careful handling. He has been making great strides in his recovery but, like any puppy, he craves the chance to run and play. His new family will need to help him resist those urges and keep playtime to a minimum. An only-dog home is preferred to keep him calm and reduce the temptation to engage in roughhousing. Older children who understand Rugar's temporary limitations would be ideal companions. Rugar is crate trained, food motivated, and is doing well on a leash. With so much potential and a lifetime of companionship ahead of him, his ideal adopter will be ready to support his recovery while continuing his training. If you have space in your heart for a sweet puppy who needs a little extra care, Rugar is eager to join your family. Click apply to start the adoption process.
