Flip’s story is heartbreaking — after being adopted from a rural shelter, his owners divorced and left him behind to live alone on the back deck of an abandoned home. For a long time, that deck was all he knew… until we were able to rescue him and give him a second chance. When Flip arrived, he met Gina, a gentle 2-year-old girl who had just been rescued herself after being found under a trailer with her puppies. Once her babies were all adopted, Gina was left shy and withdrawn — until Flip came along. Together, they healed. Together, they became family. Now, Flip and Gina are inseparable — the perfect pair of best friends. They’re both easy keepers, completely crate trained, and just happy, well-behaved dogs looking for someone to finally love them forever.
