About Hobbs

Meet Hobbs, a charming Pit Bull mix who is about 7 years old and weighs 58 lbs. This lovable guy came to us in rough shape, with injuries across his legs, head, and face. After showing signs of blood in his urine, he underwent a neuter surgery where he was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Fortunately, the cancer was completely removed, and Hobbs is now fully healed. Hobbs is incredibly smart and has received some training. His favorite things include his pink squeaky pig and a cozy furry bed. He’s won the hearts of everyone here with his cheerful smile and wagging tail. While he doesn’t get along with cats, he's passed his testing with kids and is ready for a family. You can view some of his adorable videos on our Dogs of Del Norte County Facebook page. Come meet him at Del Norte County Animal Control in Crescent City, CA! The kennels are open for visits or by appointment. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
