About Ash

Meet Ash! This charming Pittie mix is a bit camera-shy, often hiding his expressive ears and eyes when a photo opportunity arises. We estimate he’s around 5 years old and weighs about 60 lbs. He came to us alongside a small dog after their previous owner went into hospice care. Ash is friendly with other dogs and has passed his kid and crate testing. With proper introductions and some supervision, he could potentially co-exist with a cat too. Ash shows good leash manners and has a playful prance that matches his delightful smile. He seems a bit head shy, but we’re working on that, and he’s made great strides—he hops right into his crate without a fuss for van rides. If you want to see his adorable personality shine, swing by for a visit! You can find our adoptable pets at 2650 Washington Blvd, Crescent City, CA 95531. Our kennels are open Monday through Thursday from 9:30 AM to noon and 1 PM to 3:30 PM, or by appointment. An adoption application is needed from anyone hoping to give Ash a loving forever home. Feel free to reach out to us at (707) 464-7235 for more information. Don’t miss the chance to meet this lovable guy! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
