About Ackee

Ackee, pronounced ah-kee, is just under a year old and weighs about 25–30 pounds. For the first nine months, she lived entirely outdoors and never experienced the warmth of an indoor space. Thankfully, her previous owner's change of heart allowed us to bring her into our care, where she has thrived. Since joining us, Ackee has fully embraced her new life as an indoor dog. She's sweet, adaptable, and gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids alike. After spending so long outside, it's heartening to see how much joy she finds in her new environment. Now, Ackee is looking for a forever family who will love and spoil her like the queen she is. She deserves a warm, inviting home where she can be part of the family. Could that family be yours?
