Rosie is a survivor who’s been through more than most dogs ever will. She’s around 4-6 years old and was first found in the Bahamas, where she faced a real threat to her life. It took a special effort to get her safely to Florida and into a foster home, and since then, Rosie has shown a level of resilience that’s hard to put into words. She’s bounced back from repeated breeding, TVT cancer, hernia surgery, and heartworm treatment—all in the past year. Through it all, Rosie has remained loving, gentle, and remarkably hopeful. Now healthy, this chocolate-coated, medium-sized mixed-breed Labrador is house trained and gets along well with dogs, cats, and children.
