Meet Selina! She's a 6–7 year old female who embodies the spirit of a professional couch potato and is an absolute belly rub enthusiast. Selina has a heartwarming comeback story. Rescued from a local shelter, she faced challenges including being abandoned and struggling with undiagnosed hypothyroidism. Thankfully, she has been responding well to medication, and it's wonderful to see her slowly reclaim her energy while shedding some extra weight. Each day, she reveals more of her lovable personality. This affectionate girl thrives on attention. She adores belly rubs, loves to snuggle, and enjoys both quiet days at home and lounging outside in the grass. Selina is low-energy and content with leisurely walks, but as she gets healthier, she's showing little bursts of playful energy, too. In terms of behavior, Selina has wonderful house manners. She can be left uncrated, alone for up to six hours without any issues. She's also making significant strides with potty training, and she’s getting better at signaling when it's time to go out. Ideal for a home as the only dog, Selina benefits from a calm and predictable environment where she can focus on her health. She's not looking for a high-energy household but rather someone who enjoys simple pleasures—like relaxed walks, cozy spots to nap, and abundant love.
