Winnie is a wonderful dog who has been overcoming her fears. Initially timid, she would shy away when she saw a leash, often retreating to the back of her kennel. However, a shelter supervisor helped Winnie build trust, and soon she ventured to the interaction pen. With gentle encouragement, I was able to win her over too. Before long, she rolled onto her back, eager for belly rubs and affection. Watching her light up as she enjoyed treats and pets was heartwarming. A special moment occurred when Sundae, another dog, dashed over, leading to a joyful connection between the two. Winnie truly thrives on companionship and displays a loving nature beyond the noise of the kennel. Every moment with her reveals her sweet spirit – she just needs a loving home to show it in full.
