About Boots
Meet Boots! This joyful three-and-a-half-year-old Boxer/Labrador Retriever mix is a bright spirit currently in Amherst, MA. With her mostly white coat and charming personality, she truly is a walking bundle of sunshine. Weighing around 60 pounds, Boots is the ideal medium-sized companion—both a running buddy and a cuddly friend. She loves stuffed animals and rope toys, and her happy bounce while playing is infectious. Boots is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows how to sit confidently. Her friendly nature makes her compatible with kids, cats, and other dogs, especially enjoying the company of energetic teens. Car rides are a favorite activity, and she settles in happily for any adventure. Boots has an endearing, goofy personality. One side of her face reflects her Boxer heritage, while her charming grin comes from facial nerve damage she experienced as a puppy. Although she has lost most of her teeth and needs some dental awareness, she plays and snuggles with great joy! She may be uneasy with loud noises, so continued positive reinforcement training will help boost her confidence and refine her manners. This energetic girl thrives in an active, loving environment. Boots seeks an adopter who enjoys walks, runs, and play sessions. After a day of fun, her happiest moments are spent curled up on the bed or relaxing in her kennel, grateful just to be near her people. Boots is ready to find a new loving home filled with laughter, movement, and affection. Are you ready for a loyal companion who will keep you smiling every single day?
