About Millie

Meet Millie! This vibrant approximately nine-month-old English Springer Spaniel and German Shepherd mix is a delightful whirlwind of energy and curiosity, decked out in her stunning tricolor coat. Residing in Amherst, MA, she's about 45 pounds and embodies the playful spirit of her mixed breed heritage, showing off a blend of English Springer Spaniel, German Shepherd, and more. Millie thrives in an active environment and craves a family that can keep up with her energy. She loves to play with other dogs, and a doggie companion is a must for her. Outdoor play is ideal for her, especially in a fenced yard where she can explore and dig—supervision is key, as she’s known to sample interesting finds in the yard. While she’s a friend to canine pals, Millie does not get along with cats, so a cat-free home is necessary. Her experience with children is still a question mark. When playtime wraps up, Millie transforms into a cuddly companion, ready to snuggle on the couch. She’s also a toy enthusiast, relishing in her collection of squeaky toys and chewables. Her cleverness shines through as she knows how to sit, lie down, and give a high five, often showing off her adorable head tilt when spoken to. Millie is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. She’s house-trained and even signals when she needs to go outside by ringing a bell! She can get a bit mouthy during exciting moments, so her new family should be prepared to help her channel that energy positively. Thankfully, she’s crate-trained and finds comfort in her cozy space, affectionately called her “apartment.” To ensure a smooth transition to her new home, Millie comes with all her favorite comforts—her crate, beds, toys, dishes, leashes, and more. Is this affectionate, toy-loving adventurer your family's next best friend? Your new best friend is just one click away.
