About Nemo
Nemo is a small male Chihuahua who has come a long way in just a few months. He spent four months on the run in the Yolo community, being cared for by kind-hearted locals before finally being rescued. Initially shy and scared, he has blossomed in a foster environment that has allowed him to feel secure and loved. Now, after nearly three weeks in a nurturing home, Nemo exhibits some charming traits. Heโs comfortable around other dogs and cats, sharing a bed with another dog and showing a playful demeanor. He walks well on a leash, enjoys his meals and treats, and happily hops into the car. Although he barks when left alone outside, he quickly settles down if he can see someone nearby. Nemo loves gentle pets when youโre at his level and is generally cooperative, accepting baths and being picked up despite showing some apprehension. This little guy has the potential to be an incredibly loyal companion for someone willing to invest time and patience in him. A home with at least one friendly dog pal would help him thrive. If you're ready for a rewarding journey with a once-timid pup, reach out to Yolo County Animal Services to learn more about adopting Nemo. Your new best friend is just one click away.
