About Raider
Raider is a 10-year-old male chihuahua who deserves a loving home after being rescued from a high-intake shelter. He is neutered, vaccinated, and house trained, with his dental surgery already taken care of. This sweet boy was surrendered when his owner was moved to hospice, which made him understandably fearful in the shelter. However, in foster care, Raider has started to show his true, affectionate personality. Though shy with new people, Raider warms up quickly once he feels secure. He enjoys pets, leisurely walks, and quality time with his person. Given his age and gentle demeanor, he wouldn’t thrive in a chaotic home with children. Raider prefers to be the only dog but gets along well with smaller dogs that respect his space. He is timid around large dogs and does well with cats that are also respectful. Raider is ready to find a quiet, loving environment where he can continue to blossom. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
