About Big Boy

Big Boy has spent most of his life as a breeding dog in a barn and is just starting to learn how to live in a home. He’s currently improving with crate training and is getting used to wearing a belly band. While he can be stubborn, he responds well to firm corrections paired with plenty of praise. This playful, goofy guy has a knack for snatching food and might grab at your hands if he thinks you have a treat. Ideally, he should be the only dog since he tends to challenge others; however, as he settles in and his hormones balance out, he might learn to interact better. He has shown curiosity towards cats, but he hasn't been assessed around small children. With his energetic and rough play style, he may not be a suitable match for toddlers. At around 4 years old and approximately 80 lbs, Big Boy is looking for a loving home that can continue his training journey. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
