About Blaze Springfield

Meet Blaze Springfield, a gentle soul in search of his forever home. Blaze is a 3-year-old Standard Poodle, weighing around 45 pounds. He embodies the sweet nature of dogs, especially those who need a bit of patience and love to feel truly safe. Blaze entered rescue after a difficult start in a hoarding situation and was in rough shape. His coat was severely matted, necessitating a shave, and he was underweight. Though his past has been tough, Blaze is ready to embrace a brighter future filled with kindness and warmth. This handsome boy is currently succeeding with potty and crate training. He’s well-mannered with other dogs, often thriving in their company, so a home with a friendly dog would be ideal for him. Blaze is a bit shy with new people but warms up with time and affection. He needs understanding and patience as he learns to trust. Blaze is good with dogs, cats, and children. He has no food aggression and is simply looking for a family that's ready to support him through his journey of rediscovery. After undergoing neutering and getting his vaccinations up to date, Blaze is now healthy and ready to thrive in a loving environment. He’s looking for a home that understands the importance of patience and offers him a safe space to grow. If you can provide a gentle, nurturing forever home for this sweet Standard Poodle, Blaze just might be the perfect companion for you. Give him the chance to shine and show you the love he has to offer. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
