About Blaze so il

Meet Blaze — a 3-year-old Standard Poodle who is ready to find his forever home. Weighing about 45 pounds, Blaze has a gentle spirit and is slowly learning to trust since coming from a hoarding situation. His past was tough; he arrived underweight and matted, requiring significant care and cleaning up. Now, Blaze is making incredible strides with his potty and crate training. He’s a well-mannered, polite gentleman who adores canine companionship. Blaze would truly shine in a home with another friendly dog to help him gain confidence. While he may be shy around new people, he’s affectionate and opens up once he feels secure. Blaze is a great fit for a family who understands the need for patience and recognizes the 3-3-3 acclimation rule for rescue dogs. Blaze is good with dogs, cats, and children, showing no signs of food aggression or resource guarding. He’s already neutered, fully vaccinated, and started on heartworm prevention, and we are helping him gain the weight necessary for good health. This sweet boy is not looking for a perfect home; he seeks a patient environment, a loving furry friend, and caring humans who understand that real relationships take time to build. If you have some room in your heart for this sensitive Standard Poodle, Blaze could be your ideal match. Watch as he discovers what it means to be truly loved and at home.
